The aim of this course:

The aim of the SEP class rating course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to enable them to operate as private pilot in command, on single engine piston airplanes under instrument flight rules (IFR).

Theoretical & Flight Training:

The IR theoretical knowledge course comprises of 7 subjects and includes self study, classroom work, inter-active video training, and sample exams. In addition to that, students may have 15 private tuitions sessions with an instructor as extra training. The student will complete a 3 month theoretical training, covering the 7 IR subjects.
The student will complete 50 hrs flight training, including 15 hrs on single engine airplanes and 35 hrs on the FNPT II Simulator. The student may begin the flight training simultaneously with the theoretical training. If the student holds an EASA CPL, the flight training will be reduced by 10 hrs, of which 5 hrs on single engine airplanes and 5 hrs on the FNPT II Simulator.
